This group is designed to be exactly that for you.
What You Can Expect:
Skill-Building: We’ll dive into hands-on strategies rooted in self-compassion—tools proven to boost emotional well-being and regulation, with a ripple effect on executive functioning. You’ll find ways to handle ADHD’s ups and downs with a bit more ease.
Supportive Community: Join a circle of women committed to learning and growing. Research shows self-compassion thrives in groups, making this the perfect setting for your journey.
Expert Guidance: Led by Bethany McLaughlin, a seasoned mental health practitioner and ADHD coach with deep training and years of experience in self-compassion. Bethany offers guidance that's both evidence-based and empathetic.
Inclusive Environment: If you identify as a woman with ADHD, this group is for you. We’re here to ensure everyone’s experiences and identities are honored and valued—no gatekeeping, just genuine support.
Interactive Curriculum: Expect a mix of teaching, discussions, journaling, exercises, and applied practices to keep you engaged and moving forward week by week.
Applied Practice: Homework is assigned each week, but we prefer to think of it as “applied practice”: we want you to gain real-life experience throughout the course in using the self-compassion practices we learn. Many of them are designed to be woven into your daily tasks, while others require you to set aside time throughout the week to practice.
